I currently make three styles of paperweights: traditional round, teardrops and ice cubes. Personally, I get a kick out of the teardrops. I guess they just appeal to my sensibilities... no other explanation, really. Most of the paperweights include swirls of dichroic glass (glass with a sparkly metallic surface that changes as it move) and a few bubbles for added interest.
The paperweights are made for... uhh... holding down papers. Actually, they look nicer if you treat them like a little mini-sculptures and display them on mirrored bases. And they look really cool if you put them on lighted, rotating display bases... particularly the teardrops!
All of the paperweights are 2" to 3" wide and vary in height from about 2" (round) to 2" or 3" (ice cube) to 5" or 6" (teardrop).
